Problem Note 33835: SAS® Web Report Studio might display mixed languages when the application server is using a supported language but the browser is not
If your application server is started using a language that is supported by SAS Web Report Studio, but your browser language preference is not supported by SAS Web Report Studio, then SAS Web Report Studio might display mixed languages.
As a specific example, assume that Tomcat has been started using Italian, which is supported by SAS Web Report Studio. The Tomcat parameters would look like this:
-Duser.language=it -Duser.region=IT

Now assume that your browser language is set to Portugese, which is not supported by SAS Web Report Studio. In Internet Explorer 7, your Language Preferences might look like this:
In this example, SAS Web Report Studio might appear like this:
To resolve this problem, change your browser language to the same language that is being used by the application server. In the example, you would change your browser language to Italian.
SAS Web Report Studio 4.2 will be modified so that the application server language will always be used if the browser language is not supported by SAS Web Report Studio. If the browser is using a supported language, then SAS Web Report Studio will use the browser language.
